I thought I’d post this question from Duke since a lot of people seem to be asking it lately:
I want it to have “all you can eat broadband” with at least 100mins talk time and 100 texts minimum. Like it to be a touch screen version that i can download and play games on (Grand theft auto etc). Good connection is vital so any phone offered has to come with a clause to allow to back out of the contract (if it is contract, if its not id like the free texts/calls to roll over to the next month etc) if i can’t use the thing.Would it be cheaper to buy the phone and the sim separately? If so what phone? What sim package should i go for?Im currently with Orange and have acquired 40 quid to go towards a new phone if that helps. If i have to pay towards a phone i really don’t want it to be over 100 but i might be tempted to go over if whats recommended is to good to turn down.If i could tether (i think that’s the word) to my pc so i could surf the web at no extra cost that would be really good to me as well.Should i invest in a better battery for my new phone or some sort of backup, if so tell me.5* for anyone that can find something for me thanks guys.
Answer: Hi Duke what i could suggest to you is if you get a 2nd hand i-phone thats either unlocked or on o2 then a sim only deal that i would recommend would be giff gaff you have to go to the giff gaff website to order a sim now giff gaff offer a great deal & its run off the o2 network now for 10 per month you get :free calls & texts to other giff gaff users 250 talktime minutes to mobile & landlines UNLIMITED textsUNLIMITED internet there is NO catch on this offer as i use this for my i-phone & when it states unlimited it truley is unlimited ! i watch catch up tv on my phone through 3g & i use loads of data for that & have never ever been charged any extra so my advice to you is take a look at the giff gaff website & decide for yourself if its an ideal thing for you .. hope this helps .. sly
