Second Life states that Satellite Internet is not supported by their services. They claim that the time required to send and recieve information between your computer and their servers is not fast enough, and in some cases, this can even leave your Second Life experience near unusable.

If this has changed recently, the I would certainly love to know the details as my interenet service provider just switched to a new "Better" service, and unfortunatly, no longer reaches my house. This has left me stuck with dial up, and Second Life is near unusable with dial up internet!
